DCLG minimum requirements for continuous professional development for every accredited energy assessor indictates that at least a minimum of 10 hours per annum for the primary strand plus 5 hours per additional strand they are qualified for.

It is necessary that you complete the required level of continuous learning throughout the year as failure to do so will result in a disciplinary matter, which would ultimately lead to suspension.
Continuous professional development will encapsulate any changes in software where applicable and scheme changes that affect the provision of EPC’s. CPD can be achieved through structured learning and non structured learning completed during the 12 month of your accreditation. It is necessary that all our members develop and manage their personal development plans and evidence completion using our CPD Record Template, available in EXCEL or PDF.
Where evidence of attendance is available please provide the required supporting documentation when you have completed the member CPD record / Membership Application.
